Specialty Classes at The Boxx

Along with Boxx Collective and Hyrox, we run focused specialty sessions that go deep into certain skills and training styles. Right now, we’re building three key specialty tracks: Yoga, Calisthenics and Powerlifting.

These classes are designed to sit alongside your main training. You can use them to recover better, move cleaner and build serious strength without committing to a separate long-term program immediately.

Yoga & Breath at The Boxx

Yoga & Breath – Reset for Your System

Yoga at The Boxx is built for lifters and everyday athletes. Expect simple, practical flows focused on hips, shoulders and spine, combined with breathwork to calm the nervous system and help you recover from heavy training.

  • ✔ Recovery-focused sessions to balance CrossFit and Hyrox work.
  • ✔ Emphasis on joint health, posture and controlled breathing.
  • ✔ Great for beginners – no flexibility “requirements”.

These sessions are ideal if you feel tight, stiff or mentally overloaded but still want to “do something” useful for your body.

Calisthenics & Bodyweight Strength

Calisthenics & Bodyweight Strength

Our calisthenics sessions focus on building strength and control using your own bodyweight: pull-ups, dips, push-ups, core work, basic handstand drills and movement progressions.

  • ✔ Learn foundations for pull-ups, dips and core strength.
  • ✔ Progressions for more advanced skills over time.
  • ✔ Great add-on to Boxx Collective if you love bodyweight training.

These classes are perfect if you want better relative strength, cleaner positions and that “gymnastic” control you see in high-level athletes.

Powerlifting Strength Track

Powerlifting Foundations – Squat, Bench, Deadlift

Powerlifting sessions at The Boxx are built around the big three: squat, bench and deadlift. We use small groups, coached sets and clear progressions to build strong, repeatable lifting technique.

  • ✔ Focused work on bar path, bracing and setup.
  • ✔ Structured sets and reps instead of random heavy days.
  • ✔ Ideal for beginners and intermediates who want real strength.

Right now, we’re running powerlifting as a specialty track so you can explore it without needing a full separate membership.

How These Specialty Classes Work

Specialty sessions may run as single workshops, short blocks (2–6 weeks) or recurring weekly slots. Because they are more focused, spots are limited so the coach can give more individual feedback.

  • Sessions are announced on The Boxx WhatsApp group & Members App.
  • Bookings are done via the app under the relevant class type.
  • Some sessions are included in memberships; others may run as add-on credits.
  • If you’re unsure which session fits you best, ask a coach after class.
